 It all dates back to 1947, when the late John S. Reid rode his 1935VL from Gowanda, NY to the Harley-Davidson® Motor Company in Milwaukee, WI to sign his authorized dealership papers and create a legend in his hometown. Upon his return, a new sign appeared outside the small barn located behind the family house. It read, "Gowanda Harley-Davidson Sales. John Reid Dealer." | |
