A dedicated group of local riders have been seeking sponsors and rolling on miles to raise funds for the Tony Reid Memorial Mileage Challenge throughout the riding season. Proceeds benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Since 2010, $51,000 has been raised and over 900,000 miles accumulated!
On Saturday, October 11 from 12p-2p all of this year’s participants are invited for a special reception featuring lunch provided by Chef’s Restaurant! The Tony Reid Award for Top Money Raised and over $800 in GHD gift cards across the top 3 mileage riders will be presented.
The reception also includes a silent auction, plus guest speakers from the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Roswell Park Cancer Institute and family of past Gowanda Harley-Davidson co-owner, Tony Reid.
I Didn’t Participate In The Mileage Challenge, Can I Still Come Out and Support Roswell Park?
Absolutely! We’d love to see you. Come get in on the unique silent auction items, be inspired by the Mileage Challenge riders, hear guest speakers and enjoy lunch by Chef’s with a $20 donation. Even learn how you can ride in next year’s challenge.
Can My Business Make A Donation For The Silent Auction?
You bet! Generous product or gift certificate donations are accepted up until Friday, Oct. 10. All proceeds raised benefit Roswell Park and Gowanda Harley-Davidson will in good faith promote your business in association with the Mileage Challenge Reception activities.
